4th graders are using computers and iPads to research their countries for Folklorama. The research is very extensive, including images, text, and video. Students are using technology to create unique presentations that will be presented to peers, teachers, and parents.

Third graders are using iPads in a variety of ways. They continue to use Front Row for individualized math practice. They have also started using coding apps such as The Foos and Kodable to prepare for the upcoming coding unit in technology class. All third graders had the opportunity to participate in an Hour of Code as well.

The apps they utilize are Raz Kids and Teach Your Monster to Read. They are also incorporating iPads during Math Centers, using apps for coding, such as Kodable. Teachers are regularly using technology to project interactive videos online with songs or lessons about literacy or math, for example: Alphablocks.
