4th grade teachers are now utilizing different features of the Zaption site. Teachers can put written reminders, pictures, and questions into any video to help the students really comprehend the concepts, check understanding, and get general feedback from students. | The following two video links help to cut teacher instruction time. Instead of the teacher making everyone pay attention while they show the steps of using these geometry tools, the students can watch the videos as many times as they need to understand how it is done. And, the teacher can use that extra time to observe the class and give feedback as they are working. http://zapt.io/t2udu9sm http://zapt.io/t4vt83yg |

Students in Ms. Lisa's and Mr. Jacob's class are getting the opportunity to work with iPads every single day. Mr. Jacob and Ms. Lisa have made an iPad sharing agreement, allowing each class to work with 12 iPads, instead of the normal 4. This has allowed for daily iPad integration. Students are learning through "Flipped" math lesssons, completing assignments through Google Classroom, sharing ideas through Corkboard apps, and working their way through Common Core Standards on Front Row. Animal Research reports are coming to life using Explain Everything, where students can insert video, audio, and interactive web browsers to their presentations. Power Point presentations are a thing of the past for these kids!
