Students in both 3rd and 6th grade have been using the app Tellagami to create book talks in the library. Collaborating in groups, they recorded themselves promoting their favorite book, then took a photo of the book and chose an avatar. Each book talk has been posted to a library webpage where students can watch each others' book talks to learn about new books that may interested them. |

I really enjoyed going through several of the third grade students' book trailers. What a cool idea for motivating the children to share what they are reading and...hopefully read more, as a result.
