Grade 5 students took part in a mini-Maker camp for three days while the majority of the generation were on the overnight field trip to San Miguel de Allende. During Maker camp, students learned how to use 123D design software to design for the 3D printer. They programmed robotic balls (Spheros) and they challenged each other using littleBits (prototyping/innovation electronic bits). For 90 minutes each day, the group engaged in fun while learning. Our technology specialists Mr. Wolfe and Ms. Kies took part in making Maker camp memorable.
